The Ultra Lingua extension will allow you to use Ultra Lingua from within nearly any Macintosh application. Set the Magic Key preferences under the Edit/Preferences.
Depending on the setting you choose in Preferences, you can have the Magic Key do one of three things:
• Launch Ultra Lingua and/or bring it to the foreground
• Copy any selected text in another application and send it into Ultra Lingua for a definition, launching and/or foregrounding Ultra Lingua as necessary (this works with many Mac applications)
• Send any text that has been copied within another application to Ultra Lingua for a definition, launching and/or foregrounding Ultra Lingua as necessary (this works with most Mac applications)
What to do with it?
The Ultra Lingua extension is an optional feature of Ultra Lingua. If you would like to use, it, simply drop it into your Extensions folder (within the system folder) and restart your machine. You may then select the key combination to use (such as a function key or a control key) under the Edit/Preferences menu: simply open the Preferences dialog and type the key combination you would like to use.
